![]() ![]() Only PA I have used for them yet though) for melee, then dual pistols for range and semi-stable combo gain. My current setup is dual sabers with rising slash (excellent crowd control, AoE, and damage so far. It’s working rather great though, as a whole. Needing level 11, got it, I can work without for now. I immediately learned, when I got resta in the second mission we did, that I couldn’t heal my buddy. I went Beast with vanguard to start because I do want to be a hybrid of sorts. But that’s workable, though occasionally disappointing. It can really ruin a PA simply having subpar hitboxes that may require you to be glued to the enemy literally. ![]() The game has some janky hitboxes for sure too, on both enemy and player side. That and at the start it’s clear you cannot rely on a single weapon, especially ranged or force. I really enjoyed PSO2’s force but certainly am less enjoying of pure force in PSP2iįriend started as force and I was like, it’s going to be jank and feel weird you should probably dabble in melee & ranged until you have money for more spells. The next thing is PSO2’s over the shoulder sim - which is awful FYI - which really just allows Force to feel significantly better. It’s not something you can’t work without of course, but it is one of those things. We agree that one of the few advantages PSO2 has, and it’s a hardware one, is the ability to have multiple PAs on a single weapon. P.S.P.S screw rappys, they’re pure evil.ĭid a first co-op session. Only bought 1 PA tho, so that’s unknown until we play more. I’ve tried all the 50 cost extend melees and a few ranged so far. It’s hard because super limited money and I don’t want to do too much more content yet. I know it’s not the true PSP2i experience but it’s a biiiig help for us! If we have a grand time, we’ll convince a few other friends to join us maybe. Now me and my one friend are set, though my friend needs to get the game imported which’ll only take a few days. I think just unlocking missions is necessary for us to play, though. Beyond that, nothing but benefits! If you choose to complete the game, it also unlocks titles but you have to manually accept those rewards so that’s not a problem either. ![]() And having access to more PA’s right away, but money issues so no biggie. However that’s level & cost locked so the only real impact I can see from fiddling around in-game is it cluttering the shop menu. It doesn’t complete them, just unlock, so it’s all new content. I gave it a check juuust in case, and lo and behold the save editor allows you to unlock all missions, with or without completing each respective episode. Normally this isn’t a problem but if the goal is 4-player co-op that not everyone will do the singleplayer of, then it is a problem. Hey! I solved the issue involving having to go through the singleplayer to unlock multiplayer content. ![]()
